Brooklyn’s Cheeky have had their Choke On A Cheeseburger EP digitally released. You can grab the six song EP along with full liner notes from Quote Unquote. The band recorded with Phil Douglas of Latterman and is recommended for fans of “Bikini Kill, the Descendents, the Ergs or 90’s-era Lookout Records,” which I imagine includes most people reading this far.

Off With Their Heads: “Self Check Out”

Minneapolis’s Off With Their Heads have posted a new track from their upcoming full-length release. You can check out “Self Check Out” at their MySpace page.

From the Bottom follows up on 2006’s Hospitals and 2007’s b-sides collection All Things Move Towards Their End. From the Bottom is due to be released on No Idea Records in early 2008.

N.Y.H.C documentary secures release

After very limited availability on VHS for the past eight years, a North American DVD release has been announced for N.Y.H.C.. Originally released in 1999, the film eatures interviews with Jimmy Gestapo (Murphy’s Law), John Joseph (Cro-Mags), Lou Koller (Sick of It All), Lord Ezec (Crown of Thornz, Danny Diablo), Roger Miret (Agnostic Front), Rick ta Life (25 ta Life), Toby Morse (H2O), Vic DiCara & Rasaraja das (108), Freddy Madball (Madball), Tim Williams & Mike Kennedy (VOD, Bloodsimple), District 9, No Redeeming Social Value, and more.

Due out March 25, 2008, the release will feautre a deluxe 2-Disc Set with the original film on the first and the second includes “Where Are They Now?” interviews shot ten years after the original documentary, flashbacks of key venues, and previously unreleased live performances of iconic songs by VOD, 108, Madball, 25 ta Life, Crown of Thornz, and more.

Joining them on most dates of the tour will be the Locust, with the Chariot taking their place on some dates.
