The Offspring post tour update, debut new song live

Huntington Beach, CA’s The Offspring have posted an extensive update on their official website. They had this to say:

“The Offspring rocked two sold out festival dates in Australia this past weekend. In Brisbane, record breaking temperatures scorched the crowd during the day but after sunset the crowd cooled off and erupted when The Offspring‘s set started. The band offered up the new song “Hammerhead“ to the Brisbane fans and debuted “Half-Truism” to the crowd in Sydney.Click here to see photos from the shows. On to Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.”

While debuting new tracks live doesn’t help out non-Australian fans itching for new content, frontman Dexter Holland previously discussed many details about the new album in an interview with Bombshellzine.com. The band is currently recording a new album with producer Bob Rock and Josh Freese on the drums, while Pete Parada has been playing with the band live.
