The Measure [SA]: “Unwritten”

The Measure [SA] Reax is hosting a new track from The Measure [SA]. “Unwritten” will appear on the band’s upcoming sophomore full-length Notes, slated for an October 5, 2010 release through No Idea Records. Head here to check out the song. Some of you might remember the song being featured on If You Make It’s Pink Couch Sessions late last year.

Once out, Notes will follow up 2006’s Historical Fiction, though The Measure have released a fair amount of EPs, 7-inches and collections since then, including a split with New Bruises just last month. Expect details regarding a tour to be announced soon; the group will be appearing at The Fest 9 in Gainesville, FL over Halloween weekend.

New Release – ARMA II: British Armed Forces DLC

British Armed Forces DLC has now been deployed on Steam providing a surge in support of the ongoing coalition deployment in Takistan.

Next in the line-up of military simulators, ARMA II: British Armed Forces (BAF) – a huge downloadable add-on for the recently released ARMA II: Operation Arrowhead – deploys today and delivers a new campaign, numerous single missions and a brand new faction and environment, expanding upon the already epic collection offered up by ARMA II’s ”MilSim” sandbox.

BAF provides an opportunity to explore the beautiful country of Takistan in even more depth, and offers the chance to hop across the border to Karzeghistan in the Shapur e-Dalanper region – a brand new area included as bonus content. A small, strategically important area, Shapur consists of pockets of densely developed settlements and industrial complexes within its regional boundaries, located just on the Karzeghi side of Takistan’s volatile borderlands.

Unprecedented freedom of movement, action and tactics, together with hundreds of unique models and epic sandbox-style maps, create the most authentic military simulation game available in the world today: war without the training wheels – available as a download now!
