Interesting Change To CoD2

I received my copy of PC Gamer in the mail today. There was a huge section on the FPS coming out in 2006. One of the things that caught my eye was a change to the health meter in CoD2. Instead of having a health meter, your vision will go wobbly and red will creep over your screen.

From there you are suppose to drop out of the battle, take a 5 second breather and that will recharge you. If you take another hit, you will be dead.

I am not sure if I like this. At least the way it sounds, a person like me who has a hard time playing certain Games due to Vertigo may not be able to play this one. Ill check it out in the demo, but I was always happy with the little health bar. 🙂

New TeamSpeak Server Active

The new Gamers Radio Battalion TeamSpeak server is active. To make life easier, you can access it using the hostname ts.gamersradio.com or by ip 67.18.226.38 with the standard port 8767. As an added feature, you can click the link on the left block to jump right in.

The last game server, Call of Duty is now online. ephil and Goose worked extra hard to bring you a very cool CoD experience. They added a bunch of mods to make the game even cooler. Ill let them tell you about it. 🙂

The Battlefield 42 server is currently running the recently released version of BF Pirates. Only Fileplanet subscribers can get in right now, but us less fortunate types will be able to download it starting this Friday. I hope we will see you next weekend so I can run me steel through ye body like a sack of wet potatoes! Argh Matey!
