ETQW Public Beta – Key Distribution Day 1

This is what you’ve been waiting for: The first batch of Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars Public Beta keys is scheduled to go out shortly via FilePlanet’s ETQW Public Beta website! All you have to do is go to the URL mentioned below, log in with your FilePlanet account and, if keys are available at that time, you’ll be able to claim yours along with the ETQW Public Beta Client. Please note that today’s keys are for FilePlanet subscribers only.

So, here’s the scoop for today:

Splash Damage Programmers Interviewed by NVIDIA

Quake Wars Official Release Date Announced

I know, there have been a lot of questions about when will Enemy Territory: Quake Wars actually be released? It was reported initially that Quake Wars would be released on June 6th, 2007. However, like all good things, this was subject to change. So, we decided to do some investigate reporting to see if we could get the word on the Official Release date.

We decided the best place to find out this info was out in the field. We tracked down this squad, hard at work, to ask them.

There are two new interviews with Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars lead designer Paul “Locki” Wedgewood out there for you to peruse. First up is GameSpot UK, where Paul talks about the development process, the game’s long term appeal, the upcoming console versions, and much more. Yahoo Debuts New QUAKE Wars Trailer, Other Goodies

Yahoo Games has fired a huge barrage of new Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars goodies in our general direction, including a great new video jam-packed with developer interviews and gameplay footage that is available both in streaming and downloadble HD flavors. They also have a hands-on report on multiplayer, and they round it all off with an interesting interview with id Software’s Kevin Cloud.
