In a remote end of the galaxy, in an obsure community forum, word of three new D&D games was posted, albiet, on April 1st..... Hmmm. The poster claims it is no hoax and that poster is a part of Ataris Public Relations.
Here are the three new games.
NWN2 - Neverwinter Nights 2
BG3 - Baldurs Gate 3 (will I ever finish 2, darn you BFV!)
Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone - News to me....
There is no further information, but the thread is an interesting read. Lets hope there is some truth to this. |

Spent some time browsing the Epitaph Records website recently and found some things of interest on a number of bands....
Hepcat: For those who dont know Hepcat, they are an L.A. band that play an infectious style of ska that resurrects the rythms and swagger of the Studio One music that came out of Jamaica in the 1960s. They are re-releasing their first album Out of Nowhere and are celebrating with a few rare tour dates. If you are anywhere near any of these shows I recommend that you go see them. I saw them on the original Out of Nowhere tour in the early 1990s and they just blew me away. If you cant see them live, check out the CD or at the very least get the free mp3. You can find out more here. |

Surfing around the web, I stumbled onto some tidbits from RollingStone.com.
SLAYER are recording their first album with the bands original lineup since 1992. On April 19th, the metal vets will perform on the season finale of the Discovery Channels Monster Garage.
A collection of rare material by the SPOOKY KIDS, the early-Nineties band featuring future MARILYN MANSON guitarist SCOTT PUTESKY, will be released on April 20th.
Filmmaker GUS VAN SANT is in talks to direct Last Days, a feature film set in the early-Nineties Seattle music scene that launched bands like NIRVANA.
A new misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct has been filed against COURTNEY LOVE stemming from her October 2nd arrest. She already faces felony drug possession charges and misdemeanor counts of being under the influence of a controlled substance.
OZZY OSBOURNE guitarist ZAKK WYLDE will release his next album, Hangover Music, Vol. VI, on April 20th.
A.F.I. had to cancel the ten remaining dates on their spring tour after singer DAVEY HAVOK suffered a vocal chord injury.
3 DOORS DOWN bassist TODD HARRELL was charged with simple assault after an altercation with a newspaper delivery man in Mississippi last week. |

I recently had the chance to sit down with Ian Tiberius Frazier, the Developer of Ultima 5: Lazarus, a mod for Dungeon Siege to discuss this great project.
I enjoyed interviewing him and hope you enjoy reading the interview just as much. As for the raving Ultima fans with pitchforks, I have moved to the North Pole. :-)
When you are done reading the interview, drop by their great looking website and check out the incredible screenshots. |

Take a look back 15 years to the Billboard top 50 albums for February 25, 1989. Holy Shiznit! Rock and Roll ruled the roost! Look at all of those hair bands, from GnRs 2 top 10 albums to Winger, Cinderella and the Bulletboys (Saw that tour too). Telsa and U2 made the top 50 and they are all ahead of a little known band called Metallica (at least to the average joe, us hardcore fans knew em well!). WOW!
Better hurry! This Billboard chart is constantly updating to the current week, 15 years ago! It sure takes you back to a time where Real Men wore make-up, women loved em and they could still kick your ass..... |

I feel like a member of the Scooby gang. Recently, we have seen a lot of people having problems with Punkbusters giving a message like "Trying to update PunkBuster Client: and then not updating the properly. The next thing you know, the server has kicked you and will not let you back on for 2 minutes. You wait 2 minutes, get back into the server and little bit later, BAM, it does it again.
Well gang, mystery solved.
You need to open ports 24300 through 24350 on your client computers firewall/router, etc.... Lets hope this does the trick! |

Are you having problems with PunkBusters kicking you from Battlefield 1942 servers with a message about not being able to update the client? The fix is very simple, although the PB website is some what convoluted on the subject. Go to the PB download site and get pbweb. Put it in your pb directory, located in the root of your Battlefield 1942 directory and then run it.
You should be updated after that and no longer get kicked for running an older version of PunkBusters.
