Rob Tujillo, former bass player for Suicidal Tendencies and Ozzy was recently announced by Metallica as the replacement for ex-bassist Jason Newsted. Rob will appear on the new album, St. Anger, currently slated for release on June 10th. He will also join them on their new Summer Sanitarium tour with Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park. Meanwhile, Newsted continues to work with veteran metal band Voivod. Their new self-titled album, which Newsted produced will be out March 4th. You can find it on Newsteds Surfdog imprint Chophouse Records. |
