From www.extremelan.org Welcome to ExtremeLAN, Oklahomas biggest and most Extreme LAN Party! The battle begins in 70 days! ExtremeLAN will take place at the Coca-Cola Bricktown Events Center in the downtown entertainment district of Oklahoma City. It is a great location, within walking distance of several restaurants, hotels, and clubs too. The event will run from 6PM, March 18th until approximately 6PM, March 20th. We have four major gaming tournaments planned - Desert Combat, Unreal Tournament 2003, Call of Duty, and Counter-Strike. There will also be a Case Mod contest (so bring your tricked-out gaming rigs!), as well as a PC benchmarking competition. Prizes: Desert Combat 1st Place 5 man team: PC hardware worth $500 or more for each player. 2nd Place 5 man team: PC hardware worth $200 or more for each player. Unreal Tournament 2003 1st Place: PC hardware worth $1000 or more. 2nd Place: PC hardware worth $500 or more. Call of Duty 1st Place 5 man team: PC hardware worth $500 or more for each player. 2nd Place 5 man team: PC hardware worth $200 or more for each player. Counter-Strike 1st Place 5 man team: PC hardware worth $500 or more for each player. 2nd Place 5 man team: PC hardware worth $200 or more for each player.
