Feargus Urquhart, former leader of Black Isle Studios did a two part interview with Gamespot. In it, he discusses Interplays future role for the Black Isle brand name and the future for his own company, Obsidian Entertainment. It seems he is once again working with Bioware on a new, unamed game and is looking for a second project to start developing. I have enjoyed almost every game I have played where Black Isle had a hand in the development and I am sure Feargus Urquhart had a lot to do with that. I cant wait to see what he puts out next. I wanted to point out one especially interesting comment he made about developing a Battlefield 1942 type game. That is a far stretch from his past projects, but I love BF42 and Ive loved his games, so why not! You can read part one here and part two here. |
