I ran across an interesting quote in the upcoming December 2004 issue of Computer Gaming World concerning the amount of time it has taken to develop Duke Nukeem Forever. You will recall that Duke Nukem Forever started out in January 1997 on the Quake II engine. Word has it we may have the game in our hands around late 2005. The quote: "Rovers Spirit and Opportunity were proposed, authorized, designed, launched, and successfully landed on Mars in less time." Can you say pwnd! Sorry, It was too funny and I had to share with the rest of the class. :-) |
