Sex Pistols detail live DVD, plan tour

Sex Pistols Sex Pistols have revealed the details about their live DVD announced back in April. As originally reported, the project reunites the band with director Julien Temple, who filmed the band in 1976.

The disc features the original lineup of Johnny Rotten, Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock performing at November 2007 reunion shows at London’s Brixton Academy. he new title captures the band during its five-night (Nov. 8-10/12/14) run at the 4,920-capacity venue, marking the 30th anniversary of its debut album Never Mind the Bollocks. The set features sixteen tracks selected from the multiple-nights and 100 minutes of extra features.

The band has also confirmed a world tour which will see the punk pioneers visiting Russia, Japan, Europe, Ireland and Las Vegas.


There’ll Always Be an England is due out June 30, 2008.
